I really enjoyed my sessions with Simon – he was fun, kind, compassionate, challenging, insightful and very informative. The Mindfulness and CBT skills he introduced me to have been really useful in my day to day life. I can highly recommend Simon.
Our son was struggling with anxiety and obsessional behaviour. We sought help from Simon who quickly established an excellent rapport, diagnosed the problem and gave him (and us) the tools to understand and address what was going on. Our sessions ended around one month ago and now when anxieties (less frequently) occur, he can recognise them and deal with them independently. We can recommend Simon without reservation.
It is not an exaggeration to say that Simon has given us our daughter back. His gentle, patient approach and his unparalleled professional experience with OCD, Aspergers and as an ed. psych have enabled him to reach her and help her understand what is going on in her mind. His practical techniques have given her space to cope with her thoughts and not be submerged by them. We cannot really express how grateful we are for his help.
Simon has given me the ability to make sense of many incidents in my formative years and given me a toolbox that i can draw on in daily life. Simply put i am a different person now, able to cope with the stresses life throws at me.Thanks Simon, confidence is a wonderful thing.
I found the work we did so helpful and empowering. I loved the mindfulness part of it and the images it created, but also looking at what is important to me. I have learned a huge amount that I think will help me in the future.
